walking.....it does a body good!
well, yesterday and today i was having a horrible pain in my lower left side. it happened again this morning, almost to the point that it had me in tears. well, i had already gotten dressed to go walking, so i started thinking, and talking to my friend, that i've drank plenty water, so i thought, so if it's gas then walking should help, but then it was also that time of the month so i thought maybe it could be ovaries too. well, sure enough the walking helped. I'm doing atkins, or my own version of atkins, think i'm not eating enough of the veggies and too much cheese. my bodies trying to tell me something!!! eat more veggies. so i did, fixed me a grilled chicken salad with baby spinach for lunch. feel 100% better now that that has passed!! i guess i need to post on the lowcarb forum and ask for advice. do i need a supplement? exactly how much fiber do we need in our diets? well, i'm off to do a little reading, oh yeah, I managed to walk 3 miles today too!! yippee!!

walking
yay!! finally got my butt out there and walked. it was getting dark but i managed to walk 2 miles before it was pitch black!! i feel great! no cheats, been really good on the eating, it's alot easier than what I thought. the only thing a little difficult is trying to get the fat count up there, never thought i'd have to worry about that!!! i found today that sunflower kernels are a good snack with 15grams of fat per serving so gonna add those to my snacks. well, going to check out all the good info on lowcarbdiscussion.com see ya there!

wow, this getting up at 4, working all day then going to football games is getting rough!! it's almost 11 and i have to get up at 4 again for work in the morning. still doing great on this diet/new way of eating. don't even crave bread at all anymore, never have been much of a pasta eater, but i did love potatoes. saturday morning will be a good test, we always order breakfast tacos from the little mexican place down the street from work on sat and sunday mornings, they have the best, i mean best flour tortilla's i've ever tasted. so, i'm gonna scramble me eggs, and turkey bacon, bring my 4net carb wheat tortilla's and homemade salsa and have my own tacos in the morning!!! i really need to start walking, but the past 2 days i've been on a very physical job post that has kept me on my feet for about 11hrs out of the day and i can barely walk my feet are killing me!!
bye for now!
bye for now!

wow, i'm exhausted!! had to get up at 4am for work, didn't go to bed til 11 or so last night (was on the dewax post today....my least favorite place to work in the lab, my feet are feeling it now, prob was on my feet 11 out of the 12 hours i worked! went straight to my youngest son's football game after work tonight, got home around 10, fixed them burgers real quick. i ate good today, no cheats, unless we count the russell stover sugar free chocolate's as cheats. they sure do taste like your cheating, especially the turtle one's. well, that's all for now, got to get up at 4 again, then tomorrow night's homecoming, so back to another football game.

well, it's wednesday today. back to work tomorrow for 4 days. I've been doing great with the food part, just seem to keep running out of time to go exercise. was going to yesterday then got busy in the yard mowing. right now i need to go weedeat the yard then get ready for church. i guess i can count that as my exercise for the day. been having an upset stomach since monday, at first i thought maybe it was because of the job interview i went on monday, but today my stomach is still upset. i'm thinking the diet that i'm on may have something to do with it. not eating much fiber and just remembered i bought some smartbalance peanut butter that has tons of omega3 (flax) in it. it's possible that's what's making my stomach so upset/cramping and other stuff i won't mention! Prob have been eating too much cheese. maybe i better ask some of the folks on the lowcarbdiscussion forum. They all seem to be pretty much experts on these low carb diets! well, when i started this aug 20th i was at 220.5, had dropped 10lbs in a week/week and a half, then stayed there, went up a couple to 212 and now am at 210.5. I joined a challenge on the lowcarb forum, lose 20lbs by nov 1st. that's just want i need. wanted to have 40 off by january in case i get that job i interviewed for. don't want to start the new job/class being this much overweight. then after that, they have a gym at the plant, I will def join and start going everyday after work or before work. I moved out to the sticks and there is absolutely nothing out here. we barely have a grocery store!! well, got to get busy outside before I run out of time.
later my friends!

Well, I've decided to try to figure out this blogging thingy. I've started on another weight loss journey, have been reading lots of different people's blogs. Jimmy Moore's livin'lavida low carb is truly an inspiration. Also, I was reading a woman named robin's. When I figure out how to put their blogs in my links i'll get that done to so be patient with me! I, like many others, have boughts tons of books, tapes, dvd's etc on weight loss. have lost the weight about 5 years ago, then gradually over the past 5 or so years put it all, yes ALL, back on. Practically the only diet I've never tried was atkins. I started off in July reading about Kimkins, at first I thought it was great, but then I started doing research and reading other people's blogs and it doesn't sound like it's too safe a plan. So, after all that, I'm going to do atkins and use my common sense. Like I don't know by now how to lose weight!!! any plan will work as long as you stick with it. but to be honest, atkins really makes sense, plus since I've cut out carb's I feel less bloated and have lots more energy. so, that's all for now while i try to figure out how to make this blog!!
